- Football (Soccer). The only thing he was spectacular at in high school.

- Cooking. Mostly chicken and mash. His parents have always been too busy with work so he's had to learn to cook for himself. Soon, it became somewhat of a passion next to his music.

- Karate. Through his childhood, he was enrolled in karate as an extracurricular activity. Has a black belt and is no longer enrolled.

[P]ersonality:
He's sort of a loner type guy that doesn't like to take crap. Which ends up resulting in him not having many friends through his life. The ones he does have, though, he protects as his own family.

Liars and cheaters are something he cannot stand and if he finds out you betrayed him in any way, the rift in that relationship will be immense unless you do something big to earn back his trust.

Because of past experiences, he has a very negative view on rising stars, thinking that they will step over anyone anyway they can to get to their goal. With this in mind, he's also adapted to not care much about anyone unless they prove they deserve to be cared about.

Darian also has a problem with being quick to judge. He knows this and tries not to act on these judgements until he is sure they are correct.

Despite all this though, he isn't a shy guy and is very conscious about the importance to show a friendly face but he also won't hesitate to show that he is irritated.

[H]istory:

Darian's family immigrated to England when he was just five from Taiwan. They were not a particularly wealthy family and had to make their own fortune in a rather modest town. His father worked as a computer technician and his mother ended up picking up a job at the local grocery store.

This hectic life left Darian, an only child, alone for the most part at home. He was a well behaved kid for the most part, knowing to help with chores and cook at a very young age.

However, because of how busy his parents were, they could not keep an eye on his grades and what he was doing in school. After picking up hobbies like sports and music, his grades declined and instead of being the typical smart Chinese kid, he was hanging out with the 'hippies' at the back of the school who smoked weed and skipped classes. He kept himself clean, though, in respect to his parents who he still loves very much.

Through this school life, he found a close-knit group of friends that eventually formed a garage-band. Along with him, there was the drummer, rhythm guitarist, keyboard and vocalist with Darian being the lead guitarist.

They had big dreams for their future, wanting to be like their idols that showed up on tele and tours all the time. They practiced everyday after school and on the weekends. Eventually, they were even invited to play at some underground venues - though these gigs were all free.

They enjoyed the music - that's what was important to the teens. Darian also struck up a relationship with their vocalist Laura Park. She was also from an immigrant family and like Darian, broke away from the traditional bookworm expectations of their Asian peers.

Things were going good and nearing their second to last year of school, Laura had gotten an invitation back to South Korea for a music career. The band's support was unanimous and Darian was happy for her success. They promised to meet again when they were done high school and Darian would find a way to be with her in Korea.

Because of this, he studied Korean madly, surprisingly able to learn the language enough to have a decent conversation within his last years of school.

Though, during this time, her calls and emails became scarce until he would no longer hear from her unless he called. And usually, she would be busy. He didn't give up and kept his hopes of seeing her one day soon.

However, one day after finding out Laura would appear in an interview with a British journalist, the band sat down to watch and cheer on their friend far away.

Laura had been signed to a rather famous band in Korea and it seemed that she had also started dating their lead guitarist.

Darian was heartbroken and angry. Why did she not tell him? Why did she lead him on? She had betrayed him and the whole band who were waiting to reunite with her.

Though they tried to keep going as a music group afterwards, the band broke up. The betrayal seemed to have created a rift between the band members and their music and many of them no longer wanted to play.

Darian, though, out of vengeance or not, kept playing and improving while his friends applied for college. They were supportive of his choice to continue music and Darian cherished their friendship regardless of their choices. They were the only people in the world that he trusted, other than his family and everyone else could 'fuck off' for all he cared.

Darian flew to Korea as planned with his savings from odd jobs. However, it wasn't to meet up with Laura anymore. The young man was going to start his journey to become a star...one even greater than his ex-girlfriend to show her she had made a mistake to throw him away like trash.
